The fighting pride of Long Island, Joe Smith Jr. (28-3, 22KOs) will put his WBO light heavyweight title on the line against the hard hitting WBC and IBF champ, Artur Beterbiev (17-0, 17KOs) on June 18th at the Hulu Theater and will presented live on ESPN starting at 10PM/ET via Top Rank.

Beterbiev is the only active world champion touting a perfect 100% KO Ratio. He will be looking to add another KO on his record as well as adding Joe Smith Jr’s WBO strap to his WBC and IBF. Beterbiev has been a hard hitting force breezing through the division with a notable KO win against the likes of Oleksandr Gvozdyk who at the time was undefeated and held the WBC title. Also on his record he has KO win against the tough and rugged Marcus Browne.

Joe Smith Jr. truly lives up to the moniker “Beast from the East”. By day he is a construction worker and tree-service laborer, by night a world champion KO artist. Smith is the only man to hand Legendary Bernard Hopkins a KO loss. He also has notable wins against Andrzej Fonfara, Maxim Vlasov, Steve Geffrard and had shared the ring with Sullivan Barrera and Dmitry Bivol. Smith is tough as they come and will be a tough test for the hard hitting Beterbiev.

Dmitry Bivol has already expressed he wants the winner of Beterbiev vs Smith so this fight should lead to an undisputed match up with the WBA light heavyweight champion Bivol. There is a lot at stake in this fight. Will Beterbiev continue his KO streak? Or will Smith Jr. persevere and come out victorious and put a halt to the Russian- Canadian power house? All the answers will come on June 18th when these two champions go toe to toe in this heavily anticipated match up!

Also on the card we have the co-feature, Robeisy “El Tren” Ramierz (9-1, 5KOs) going against the sensational Abraham “Super” Nova (21-0, 15KOs) in a 10 round featherweight bout. Sparks will fly when these two enter the ring. This will be a good night for boxing so be sure to tune in on ESPN or head over to the Hulu Theater come June 18th!
