Vasiliy Lomachenko (16-2, 11KOs) will make is return to the ring on October 29th against undefeated Jamaine Ortiz (16-0-1, 8KOs) at the Hulu Theater at MSG for the lightweight WBO Inter-Continental Title. The fight will presented live via Top Rank on ESPN+ starting at 9pm ET. The co-main event will pit Robeisy Ramierez (10-1, 6KOs) against Jessie Magdaleno (29-1, 18KOs).

After losing his titles to Teofimo Lopez in 2020, Loma started to gain steam gaining his second straight win since that loss when he defeated Richard Commey. Negotiations began with newly crowned (at the time) George Kambosos Jr. Just as things seemed to be just about finalized Russia invaded Loma’s native Ukraine. Loma put his gloves to the side and decided to take up arms to protect his homeland. A win against Jamaine Ortiz will put Loma in position to challenge the winner of the Kambosos and Haney rematch. Loma had his name thrown into the pound for pound hat for awhile until his loss against Teofimo Lopez. But the man they call “Hi-Tech” still has a skillset that’s unique and high level. Loma is a former three-weight world champion who has achieved so much in such few pro fights. His ring IQ comes from the combination of creative fitness and brain exercises as well as is 396-1 amateur boxing record.

Jamaine Ortiz is hungry, undefeated and knows a win against living legend Loma would catapult his career. Southpaw advantage goes to Loma has well as experience but when it comes to youth, height, and reach “The Technician” Ortiz has the advantage. Jamaine has only been inactive for about 160 days while Loma is coming close to almost a year of inactivity. We also down know how much training Loma was doing while he was in Ukraine, aiding his country. The Technician is looking to take out Hi-tech to gain massive stock under his name with a recent notable decision win over Jamel Herring.

Robiesy Ramirez looks to show out in the co-main event as he is coming off a huge win when he knocked out Abraham “Super” Nova has he goes against Jessie Magdaleno who has about 3 times more fights under his belt. a win for Ramirez can put him within a fight or two away from challenging for a title.

Tune in on ESPN+ or head down to the Hulu Theater on October 29th and be apart of the action as these fighters look to prove that they belong with the best of the best!
