Most Valuable promotions will be bringing its second installment of its MVPW, and the first all women’s main card to ESPN as the new global platform for women’s boxing. An all women’s main card which will be headlined by the sensational Alycia Baumgardner (17-1, 7KOs) and Bo Mi Re Shin (19-3-3, 10KOs) for Baumgardner’s unified super featherweight titles at Infosys Theater at Madison Square Garden on April 17th under Men’s rules 10- 3 minute rounds as opposed to women’s standard two minute rounds. Also on the card we have another title fight when Shadasia Green puts her unified super middleweight title on the line against Lani Daniels.
Baumgardner signed with Jake Paul’s MVP promotions and has gone 2-0 since signing. Beating Jennifer Miranda to then give up her WBX title to beat Leila Beaudoin via decision in a 12 round bout back in December. She still hold the WBO,WBA and IBF titles which will be on the line come fight night against Shin.
Shin is a tough aggressive competitor who has shared the ring against veteran Delfine Persoon via split decision and Caroline Dubois via split decision. Her aggression is enough to keep the champ, Baumgardner on her toes the till the final bell. The makings of a good, rugged and entertaining fight.
Shadesia Green (16-1, 11KOs), the unified super middleweight champion is looking to make a statement against Lani Daniels (11-4-2, 1KO), in hopes to secure a fight with the self proclaimed GWOAT, “Greatest Women of all Time” Claressa Shields. Green holds the Ring magazine, IBF and WBO titles which will be on the line. Green has the advantage in the power department. Debuting 2 years later, in 2019 as opposed to Daniels debut being in 2017. Even with the two year discrepancy, Green touts a 69 percent KO ratio as opposed to Daniels’ 9 percent ratio. Where Green lacks in experience, Daniels boxed 140 pro rounds to greens 84, she gains in power. Will power overcome experience, or will experience dictate that there are levels to this fight game? Only fight night will tell. So tune in on fight night and don’t miss out on the action and history come fight night!
