Herring vs Molina: Return of Jamel

Jamel Herring (23-4, 11KOs) will make his return to the ring and go against unbeaten Nick Molina (13-0, 5KOs) in an as they meet at the Edison Ballroom in New York City on Tuesday, November 7th. The event is titled ” Heroes on the Hudson” and will be in support of the veterans of the United States Armed Forces. The card is brought to you by Broadway Boxing via DiBella Entertainment and will be presented live via DAZN beginning at 8:00PM ET.

Herring is a US Olympian and former world champion looking to make is climb back up to world titlist. Who better than to headline this card for our veterans than Jamel ” Semper Fi” Herring who is also a proud Marine Veteran who served two tours in Iraq. Herring defeated Japan’s Masayuki Ito to snatch the WBO super featherweight title. Herring then went on to defend the title three times even stopping former world champion Carl Frampton back in 2021. Herring looks to show out for all his fellow veterans on for Veteran’s Day weekend. Herring has been itching to fight and become champion again.

Nick Molina of Lowell looks to put a former champion, Herring on his resume. Some may see Molina as the next big thing to Mickey Ward coming out of Lowell. A win against Herring will definitely add some stock to his name and fame. Molina is undefeated, scoring unanimous decisions against Alimar Sliva of Brazil and Brandon Higgins, which resulted in Molina snatching Higgins New England super lightweight title.

Also, on the card we have world ranked bantamweight contender Mikiah Kreps (6-0, 3KOs) fighting in a 10-round contest. We also will see Roney Hines (12-0-1, 8KOs) going up against Robert Hall Jr. Lastly, we will see two-time world champion Miyo Yoshida (16-3) of Japan square off with Josefina Vega of Ecuador in a super flyweight battle.
