Prospects to Bring Heat to Orlando with MVP Card!
MVP Promotions is coming to the Caribe Royale Resort in Orlando Florida on May 9th with its “Most Valuable Prospects 12” card. The card will be presented live on DAZN for free with no subscription alongside Boxlab Promotions as the official licensed promoter. The main event will have Cuban Olympian Dainier “The Fear” Per (10-0, 8KOs) square off with Mexican Heavyweight Cesar “Chaka” Navarro (13-2, 11KOs) in a 10-round bout.

Pero will be defending his WBA Continental USA heavyweight title in his 10-round heavyweight bout against Navarro. Pero is a 25 years old 6’5″ talent who will be making his fifth appearance on the Most Valuable Prospects series with a six-fight stoppage win streak. Pero has become a fan favorite building a strong following in Florida since competing on Most Valuable Prospects 5, 6, 7, and 10. Pero’s last outing ended in the first round when he stopped Walter Burns back in December 2024.
Navarro, who stands at an even 6’0″ is known for his textbook Mexican style, aggressive, strong and fast. Navarro will also be looking to make short work of Pero, with a resume that has nine of his opponents defeated by first round knockout as a pro.

In the co-main event, we have Florida’s very own, Corey “2Smoove” Marksman (10-0-1, 7KOs) aiming to preserve his undefeated record against fellow undefeated fighter Tayden “The Butcher” Beltran in an eight-round lightweight bout. Marksman, a talented prospect who gained some fame when he found himself on the Jake Paul vs Mike Perry main card as his first PPV appearance when he rematched Tony Aguilar winning by majority decision. Marksman will have his hands full when he faces Beltran, a fighter that has been making waves in the lightweight division since 2020, with a fan friendly aggressive style paired with knockout power. These two undefeated prospects will not disappoint fans come fight night and one of the fighters “0” will have to go!

MVP newest signee, a 23-year-old, 15x national champion in the amateurs, Nat “No Love” Dove (5-0, 1KO) is going against a fellow 23-year-old from El Paso Texas, Nayeli Rodriguez (3-0) in a 6-round 115lb super flyweight bout. What makes this fight more interesting is these female prospects will be fighting under “Men’s Rules” with three-minute rounds as opposed to the usually two-minute rounds that professional female fighters tend to fight at. Will we eventually see a shift to standardized three-minute rounds for female fighters? Puerto Rican superstar Amanda Serrano as expressed her desire for three-minute rounds in her fights saying that the two-minute rounds tend to be too quick to gain steam in most instances. One thing is for sure May 9th will be an amazing night for these prospects, we may see future hall of famers come fight night so make sure to tune in and don’t miss out on the action!
